Passport-free, 1 hour and 25 min away Swiss Vacation. Owner Daniel Meyer, from Switzerland, fell in love with the Texas Hill Country on a U. S. trip in 2006. He spent one Fredericksburg night in what is now The Baros Log Cabin and decided to buy the entire 26 acres and create his own Swiss Log Cabin village on what was then an undeveloped pasture.
A one hour and 25 minutes of driving is all it takes to reach this beautiful Acropolis destination. Close enough to home, yet it leaves you feeling as if you have embarked on a full-scale Vacation. The Brackenridge House Bed and Breakfast is in the heart of the historic German King William District of San Antonio. The architecture is a two-story Greek revival mansion that was built around 1901.
